Music Together® teachers are passionate about music and the development of children.
They create a fun, informal, social setting that spurs engagement and supports each child's musical development. All of our teachers undergo an intensive training to become registered Music Together teachers. They have all completed an internship and continue to receive the latest research from the field with ongoing Music Together workshops before the start of each new session.

Ashley Bakker
We are overjoyed to have on board registered Music Together teacher Ashley Bakker! Ashley loves working with young children and has been
caring for them in diverse settings for many years. Since
graduating from the University of Washington, Ashley has been working
as a nanny for a wonderful family who first introduced her to Music
Together classes. At her first class, Ashley was overcome with
excitement the moment the music started. What could be better than
combining her love for children with her passion for music and dance? She
had found her calling! Ashley completed her training and internship and
is thrilled and honored to be able to share her joy and passion for music with
the wonderful and diverse families in her community. Ashley had been
involved with music and the performing arts ever since her father first
strummed her to sleep with his guitar as a little girl. She
currently sings, plays the guitar and bellydances. She grew up in Europe,
where her main passion was for the theatre. She participated in many
multi-cultural theatre programs. She speaks fluent Dutch and some French
and appreciates the fact that the Music Together program incorporates a
multi-cultural approach to music and movement.
